My name is Samuel G Marshall, and I want to provide for you the power of visualization. My design process is a collaborative one; each home should reflect the style and taste of the residents which may or may not be congruent to contemporary trends. With the process of conversation, and the power of visualization, I create an interactive 3D model of your property that becomes our design playground for visualizing your dream home.

Methods of Visualization
As you explore my website, you may notice that I use several methods of visualization throughout the design process. Each project begins with a SketchUp model, which illustrates the design, layout, and scale of the space. From one room to an entire property, 2D or 3D, these models provide a clear understanding of the concept while maintaining a simplified and technical graphics style.

Rendering 3D Models
I use rendering software, along with my partner Brandon Harrison of Harrison Design Group, to transform SketchUp models into more lifelike architectural visualizations. Examples of these appear throughout my Showcase Videos section.
I also use AI-assisted tools to create still images that provide an even more photorealistic representation of the design vision. My use of AI is responsible and minimal: it enhances the visualization experience for my clients, but it does not replace the creativity, communication, problem-solving, or personal design expertise that are essential to every project.

My Process
After an initial call I would like to see the property and have a meeting with you. I will take some measurements and photographs and begin modeling out the room or the entire property. My rate varies based on the project but I always tell customers "about a dollar per square foot." Additional meetings may be billed at an hourly rate, which I will negotiate beforehand.
I truly respect you and your family's privacy, and you may rest assured no photographs of your home will appear on my social media without your expressed written permission.
The Power of Transparency
A common customer complaint in this business is that cost goes up during construction far past expectations. While in ways this is simply part of the process (e.g. we don't know what's behind a wall until we knock it down), you want The Power of Transparency before starting construction.
When the design is finished, I will provide a Design Guide to you and any Contractor/Builder of your choosing. This guide outlines the processes of the project, materials needed, pricing of said materials, and general timeline expectations.
I do have Contractors and Builders that I can recommend. I also offer project management services to oversee the project for additional fees.
